I'm an Accredited Conservation Architect (RIBA-SCA & AABC) and Partner at Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios taking a leading role in heritage, creative re-use and regeneration projects, in the UK and internationally.


I'm a member of External link opens in new tab or windowHistoric England’s Historic Places Panel, a UK Design Council Expert, and Chairman of the Fabric Advisory Committee for External link opens in new tab or windowExeter Cathedral. I'm also a Visiting Professor at the University of the West of England, and a regular lecturer at several UK universities including Bath, Reading and Oxford Brookes.  My passion for heritage has been informed by my international studies as a External link opens in new tab or windowWinston Churchill Fellow, and as a External link opens in new tab or windowLethaby Scholar of the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings.


My recent projects include the regeneration of oldest iron-framed buildings in the world at Shrewsbury Flaxmill Maltings for Historic England, and the major renovation of Bath Abbey.  Other previous schemes include projects for Windsor Castle, Hampton Court Palace, The Roman Baths in Bath, and the regeneration of Middleport Pottery.  International projects include work for National Museums of Ireland, the Tourist Burma Building (Yangon), Umm Qais (Jordan), and the Shashpul Caravanserai at Bamiyan (Afghanistan).
